Sanatana Dharma

Sanatana Dharma - the eternal Divine path is an ancient spiritual tradition, one of the fundamental principles of which is the freedom of the individual in choosing the beloved form of God - Ishta Devata. For me this form is Mahadev Shiva Shankara. In this life it all started when 33 years, on my birthday, I was given a statuette of Nataraja - a dancing Shiva and then I began to remember, who I was and why I came to this world. As if I got into my old pants, everything immediately fell into place, an understanding of my nature came and in life there was a sense, a way and a destination - the development and perfection of the personality for the benefit of the universe. The result of this process was a trip to India, Yoga, a total change in lifestyle and thinking. In India my second - spiritual birth occurred, as the awakening from a long sleep of nothingness. For me, my Shiva is an absolute ideal and an example to follow. Yoga, puja and yajna, every breath and every step of my life are manifestations of the divine will and I am fortunate to find my God and serve his game. What I sincerely wish to all! Kali Yuga

It is generally accepted that we live in the era of the Kaly Yuga, the time of injustice and violence, the society is flourishing with hippocracies and low animal instincts, scoundrels are coming to power, intellect and spirituality in a person are sleeping in hibernation - all the signs are present. On the other hand, there is an authoritative judgment that a new era is beginning, beginning with the hippy generation in society, a desire for equality and freedom has emerged, we begin to slowly understand that every person is the cell of a single humanity, with each new generation more and more independent people and a degree of understanding of the universe in children in our time is beyond the perception of their own parents, the process of changing epochs and seasons will take more than one generation. Different players and energies at different times dominate the process of world order, and the Indian tradition has long studied and described these processes in a simple language of allegories understandable even to the child. In fact, the sacred texts have an infinite number of levels and explain the structure of the universe and the processes that take place according to the level of the reader. Understanding allows you to understand how and for what to live, what we should strive for, what to avoid and what results will result in those or other actions.

Shiva

It is impossible to explain or understand who Shiva is for this is prana itself, life itself in all its manifestation. But perhapsit is possible to aspire to the source of universal goodness and compassion, to develop in itself the qualities of goodness and embark on the path of self-development, this is the basis of Shivaism. There are texts and scriptures, schools and branches, saints and prophets, but no one has a monopoly on Shiva and every creature, regardless of karma and dharma, has the right to a personal relationship with Mahadev. That's right, Shiva has a personal relationship with every creature.

Shakti

There is only one indisputable truth - Shiva and Shakti are one and inseparable, eternal and unchanging. What we call energy, what all matter is, time and space consist - are manifestations of Shakti, the divine Mother, the basis of the perceived universe and the one beyond all perception.

Immortality

There are two types of immortality - the immortality of the body, an extremely rare phenomenon and the immortality of the personality, when the character is strengthened to such an extent that regardless of the form and time or place of birth, the individual has persistent qualities and knows exactly how and why to live. At this stage, the absolute acceptance of the universe gives the opportunity to become this very Universe, all fears and desires from the mind disappear by themselves, peace and harmony come.

Shiva pooja

Shiva pooja is a ritual of worship, a ritual of communion with God and the cultivation of Shiva's energy - goodness and compassion, a time when we forget about worldly affairs and direct our thoughts towards high vibrations. Drawing the attention of God, turning our prayers to him, we bring divine energies into our lives and the surrounding space. Om namah Shivaya!

There is a special kind of spiritual intimacy between those who worship Mahadev, probably this kind of kinship in spirit. It concerns not only people, but in general all beings. If you feel an intuitive desire, I will sincerely welcome your participation in rituals and just fellowship. Sharing experiences, stories and emotions is a special form of worship for Mahadev. Generally speaking, Bhakti is a constant remembrance of God, and the environment and the order of life help to achieve this state - naturally Shivaites often unite. In the family of Shiva there are no classes and differences - all the children of Mahadev and Mother Parvaty.

Shiva pooja

The best Shiva pooja is the practice of Yoga!
Since 2007, every Monday has become for me a holiday - the time of Shiva pooja, the rite of worship, the conversation with my god. For several years the ritual has been transforming my life, my pooja is both Yoga and pranayama, mantra, karma and kriya, the basis of my life and the vector of development. Sharing with you Shiva pooja immediately I want to notice that this pooja is not strictly canonical and belongs to the category of bhakti-yoga puja, a ritual conducted by a devotee Mahadeva yogin. The text below is not a guide to Shiva pooja, but gives a general idea of the ritual. In the transliteration of mantras, many details are omitted for simplification of perception. Next is a description of the traditional steps of pooja, and the central part - Shiva pancha pooja is described in the Skanda Purana. In the age of Kaly Yuga, it is considered that only the five-step (pancha) and the sixteen-step Shiva pooja forms can be carried out without any restrictions on Varna, place and circumstances. Only one condition - devotion and purity of thoughts.
1. Snamam - the ritual of ablution, cleansing, festive clothing.
2. Asanam - take the position of the body for puja and establish itself in the intention.
3. Dhyanam - meditation and tuning for puja and the form of God, in my case Mahadev Shiva Shankara.
4. Omkara - a three-fold repetition of the mantra Om to adjust to the vibration of the entire universe.
5. Achanam - the purification of the three bodies. Mantram "Om Ganga ca Yamuna chiava Godavari Sarasvati Normada Sindhu Kaveri jalehasmin sannidhim kuru" - let the seven sacred rivers of India come into this vessel and pirify the water in it with their presence. 3 drops of water are poured into the right hand, reciting "Om Namo Bhagavate jvala jvaalaya maline" - purification of the physical body. The second time is the cleansing of the astral body, the aura. The third time is the purification of the mental body. Next, consecrated water with the words "Amritam kuru svaha" sprinkles all over the offerings for the puja, the space around and the participants.
6. The first offering is always for Ganesha, let there be no obstacle in our path and let the pooja go successfully.
